Dexter Brunch House - Exceptional Breakfast & Brunch with Fresh Ingredients in Dexter, MI

My wife and I recently visited for the first time since the new owners took over. We were stunned at how it has changed. The food is FANTASTIC! The highest quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. The portion sizes were ample and the price was affordable. My wife had the "very berry crepes" and I had the "country skillet". The crepes were delicious and topped with large, ripe, strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries. The skillet had sausage, cheese, eggs, onions, and gravy over your choice of sliced, diced, or hashbrown potatoes. Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed.

I came here on a whim because I really wanted breakfast food, and man I am glad I did. I haven't had a really good batch of pancakes in so long.....they were fantastic! And the bacon was thick and crispy. That usually doesn't happen! The hash browns were browned and delightful as well! They don't short you on meat for sandwiches either! It was worth two more. The service was fantastic and if I ever am in the area again, I'll definitely go back!

My first visit to Dexter and I chose the restaurant with the highest ratings. I was not disappointed. As you can see from the photo, the fish and chips that I ordered came with four large pieces of freshly deep fried fish, and a mountain of french fries. I could not eat it all. The server, whose name I believe was Meadow, was very attentive and provide the great service. If you're in Dexter you can't go wrong with this place.

Absolutely Outstanding Breakfast Experience! WE DROVE AN HOUR TO TRY IT. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome — genuinely friendly and attentive without ever being overbearing. The owner even came by to introduce himself, which added such a personal touch and made us feel valued as guests. The food? Exceptional. Everything tasted fresh and homemade — from the bright, freshly squeezed orange juice to the incredible jams, preserves, gravy, and even the hollandaise sauce. The omelets were perfectly cooked, the crepes light and delicious, and every plate we saw coming out of the kitchen looked just as good. My husband loved it so much he ended up ordering two breakfasts! For the quality of food and service, the prices are more than reasonable. It’s rare to find a spot where everything — from the hospitality to the flavors — is this consistently excellent. We’ll definitely be back!

My husband and I enjoyed brunch on the patio on a Monday morning. The staff were friendly and we were seated right away. The menu has plenty of breakfast and lunch options. So many plates sounded delicious! We ordered the tiramisu pancakes and caramelized banana french toast. What a treat! Absolutely delicious! Pretty large serving sizes as well. My husband had black coffee. I had a caramel latte with soy milk. It was just okay- likely wouldn’t order it again. A little bland and bitter for me but I didn’t want that to stop at 5 star review. The 4 stars for atmosphere is because of the bees. They did have traps but it was close to our table and my husband is allergic to bees. The trap was a bit unsightly as well. But overall we highly recommended! We can’t wait to come back and try more menu items!

Dexter Brunch House exceeded our expectations. From the fresh squeezed orange juice to the homemade Jam to the fluffy golden pancakes everything was amazing! Great customer service and extremely reasonable prices given the portion size. Everything was fresh and you can tell that there was love put in every dish. We look forward to making our go to spots.

First time here, we enjoyed the pancakes and steak skillet. Our server was very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. The portion sizes were filling and meals were reasonably priced. The menu has something for everyone. We will definitely return to try other breakfast items.

Fantastic food and friendly service! They even shared bacon with our pup on their pet-friendly patio. Can’t wait to go back. FYI- Maple syrup with these pancakes is completely unnecessary, they are incredibly delicious without it.
